Pictures that I like
This is the only sugar mill still in operation on the island of Maui. The green grass in the foreground is sugarcane.
the treatment of your photo is intriguing....I am sure the smoke is non-polluting....right?
Joanne, the smoke is actually white but it looks black in the picture because of the back lighting. I suspect it is mostly steam, but I wouldn't say it is non-polluting because they burn the remaining fiber to use it as fuel. Thanks for the comment.
What an interesting photo. The contrast of the smoke against the green of the grass is excellent. Thanks for linking up with Rural Thursday today!
Oh this is so beautiful I love the effects. B
Beautiful scene against the evening sky.
This capture and the processing is just lovely! Is this in the upcountry.??
The smoke from the stacks really stands out with your processing. Thank you for sharing at Rural Thursdays. xo
Beautifully saturated colours and dramatic contrasts. I suppose you hear this all the time, but maybe you're not tired of it: your photographs are outstanding!
Nice photo treatment withe the colors! Love it
Interesting!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
You have transformed it into a beautiful fantasyland - well done! I have started a new photo challenge -Mandarin Orange Monday- if you would like to contribute.
